LEVEL 1

Introduction to Level 1

Level 1 is the foundation of the TEC Excellence Academy and is designed to bring every team member, regardless of job title, experience level or background, to the same elite standard of professionalism, service, knowledge and operational ability. No matter how experienced someone is when they join TEC, they must complete Level 1 because it teaches not only how the events industry works, but how TEC works, what TEC expects, how TEC delivers and the exact standards clients should experience when working with us.

Level 1 builds the attitude, behaviours and technical understanding needed to work confidently across all TEC projects. It introduces the TEC Way: professionalism, ownership, accountability, clarity, speed, attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering the best event experience in the industry.

LEVEL 1 — 25 MODULES

Level One consists of 25 varied modules, each designed to build a complete foundation in how TEC operates and what excellence looks like within our agency. The modules cover a broad range of technical, operational, behavioural and cultural competencies to ensure every employee understands the full scope of event delivery at TEC. Together, these modules provide the essential knowledge, systems, standards and ways of working required before progressing to Level Two.
